In order to receive credit for the internship all hours must be completed all status/activity reports must be submitted on time the final report must be submitted on time. Internship Final Report: Based on the learning outcomes identified for the internship, the student will prepare a report discussing how those outcomes were (or were not) accomplished.One of the reports will be a multimedia presentation. In addition, there will be reporting requirements as outlined below. The Internship course is 2, 3, or 4 units, each unit equivalent to 45 hours (minimum) of on-site or virtual work at the internship site. It is designed to provide the student with the opportunity to test theories and to practice skills learned in the student’s program. INFO 294 allows the student to obtain work experience while pursuing stated learning outcomes. The work can be performed onsite or virtually. The Internship course is a field-based learning experience that takes place in a library, archives, or other information-based organization. This course uses a special consolidated Canvas site for every intern enrolled in all the above sections of INFO 294. You will be enrolled in the Canvas site automatically.
